Ardent Craft Ales proudly presents our first beer dinner at the brewery in collaboration with Southbound Restaurant, the newest venture from Roosevelt Chef Lee Gregory and Heritage Chef Joe Sparatta. On Monday, May 4 beginning at 6 p.m. we welcome the Southbound crew for an incredible five-course "Cuatro de Mayo" dinner - which also includes pre-dinner snacks and family-style side dishes - served outside on our patio. This festive, early summer menu will be paired with six Ardent beers including several casks brewed just for the occasion as follows:

Tamale bites with chicken, cheese + roasted peppers

Beer: Touchstone Wheat Pale Ale pin infused with
Kumquats, Coriander+ Smoked Sea Salt
COURSE 1 | Octopus Salad
with marinated tomatoes, yucca chip & ramp verde
Beer: Berliner Braunbier
COURSE 2 | Pupusa
Lamb chorizo, blue corn + queso
topped with apple + fennel curtido
Beer: Barrel-aged Honey Ginger

Smoke tomato masa filled with beef cheek al pastor
+ garnished with pickled beef tongue salad
Beer: Sweet Potato & Sage Ale
COURSE 4 | Tacos
Pork from Autumn Olive Farm whole hog
served with local corn tortillas, Southbound hot sauces
+ traditional garnishes
Beer: Session India Pale Lager
COURSE 5 | Flan
Coconut custard with mole caramel + malted churro
Beer: Dark Rye pin infused with Mexican spice + coconut
Family-style lime rice + coconut black beans served with dinner
Details: Ardent & Southbound Cuatro de Mayo Beer Dinner on Monday, May 4 at 6 p.m. Dinner is $70 per person, including all taxes and gratuity. Dinner will take place at Ardent Craft Ales at 3200 West Leigh Street in Richmond. Rain or shine event. In the event of rain, beer dinner will be moved inside brewery.
